Revitalization of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools – Competition entry

gobli architecs & engineers, together with GBT Planung GmbH, were commissioned by the municipality of Amstetten to design the new municipal swimming pool in Amstetten as the general planning team.

The existing indoor swimming pool was replaced by a new building, with essential technical areas being retained and renovated. In addition to the indoor pool, various functions were added, such as catering facilities, outdoor pools, and, above all, a play area in the form of a riverside park.

The project was expanded to include another building for catering facilities and club rooms.

The project was constructed with high standards of sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Particular emphasis was placed on durability and low operating costs, especially in the choice of materials and technical equipment.

The general planning team delivered a magnificent project in a very short construction period.
